Esther's Intercessors
Esther risked her life to go
before the King. She recognized that she was chosen for such a time as
this. But the King extended to her his scepter, and Esther asked the King
and Haman to attend not one, but two banquets. At the second banquet,
Esther reveals Haman's plot against the Jews, and that it is a plot against
her also, because she is a Jew.
Because of her daring action, not only is her life spared, but all of
the Jewish nation. Haman was hanged, and the Jews were allowed to fight
against those who came against them, resulting in the defeat of their
enemies.
Esther is a wonderful picture of the intercessor who
prepares a banquet of worship before making a request from her King and
Lord. Praise and worship are a pathway to His presence. His presence directs
us how to pray and what to pray because we are praying the Holy Spirit's
words.
If you are led to be an intercessor for this ministry,
please send your address and email to: edith812@yahoo.com. We will send
you periodic prayer requests. Also, we will update general needs on this
section. Remember, however, to first seek the Lord. You may want to put
on a music tape or CD and sing along or praise and worship in your own
unique way. Ask God to give you a scripture to meditate on. And then wait
in silence before Him. Waiting on Him is a key to intimacy with God. This
intimacy births the praying of God's heart.
The following are some general prayer needs for this
ministry:
1. Pray that Yeshua HaMashiach- Jesus Christ alone would
be exalted through this ministry, that He alone would receive the glory,
and that we would see Him and hear His voice in greater sensitivity, and
that LOVE and HUMILITY, purity of heart, obedience, the boldness of His
power, with signs and miracles following would characterize this ministry.
2. Pray for the salvation of souls, for people to be filled with the Holy
Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and that individuals
would be changed by the preaching of the Word to walk in greater holiness
of living so that they might be prepared for the coming of the Lord. Pray
that individuals would be healed physically, emotionally, and spiritually
through this ministry. Pray that worldwide God would raise up a bridal
army. 3. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and against the dividing of the
land.
4. Pray for the Godly uniting of Jews and Christians not only against
terrorism but that we might learn from each other.
5. Pray that Jewish individuals throughout the world and the Jewish nation
would come to recognize Yeshua HaMashiach - Jesus Christ as their Messiah.
6. Pray that the KEY to open doors of ministry would be released to Hine
Ze Ba- Behold He Comes!
7. Pray that financial doors would be open for a prayer journey to Israel
this year and mission trips with Good News for the Nations through Jan
MacArthur.
8. Pray that the seven fold spirit of God (Isaiah 11) would be released
through this ministry.
Acts 9:36-43 tells the story of Dorcas, who loved to
help the poor. She sewed coats and garments but then became deathly sick.
But when Peter prayed for her, she was healed.
Dorcas Donors
We support a ministry that feeds and clothes the poor
in Haiti. You can go into their website at www.glowmi.com We will make
known to you other projects as the Holy Spirit leads.
In addition, we have another need that would reach out
to the poor (spiritually)- those that don't know the Lord personally.
We would like to do a visual reenactment of the Jewish wedding. For this
we will need Biblical garments and props. If you would like to make any
of these articles and donate them to this ministry, it would very much
be appreciated!
Please read my articles on the Jewish wedding and its
relationship to the marital blood covenant and the feasts. Look under
books: The Unveiled Bride. Also, Jamie Lash's, The Ancient Jewish Wedding
put out by their ministry, Jewish Jewels is an excellent resource.
Garments needed:
1. White bridal costume (in ancient Biblical costume)
with blue on the bodice. A crown of flowers would be on her head and a
veil again in ancient Biblical costume. (I am guessing that the size should
be small but really pray about this! It may possibly be made in such a
way that the size could be altered.)
2. The bridegroom's costume in ancient Biblical costume.
3. Costumes for the father and mother of the bridegroom, and of the bride
and the shadkhan (5), (3 male, 2 female)
Props:
4. Chuppah made of four poles that will stand up and
covered with a huge tallit or beautifully decorated banner. The materials
should be light, fold up easily for being mailed.
5. Succoth- made up of willow, myrtle, palm, and citron branches or something
that resembles them. It has four poles, must be easily transportable.
You will need to do research on this to see how to make it.
6. Aperion which is a carriage carried by four men supported by four poles.
A picture of it is on the back of the booklet, The Ancient Jewish Wedding.
The reenactment of the Jewish wedding (with narration)
would enable this ministry to go to any church and share wonderful Hebraic
truths which people of any background would be able to understand!!
