Learn the sacredness of "crossing over" the threshold, its relationship to the blood covenant, Hebrew marriage, and Passover. Study the "marital overtones" in the words "foundation" and "borders". See how the New Testament believer crosses over from "death to life" by coming to know the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, personally. Example with Dr. Edith the exciting marital overtones in the book of Ephesians. Discover hidden treasures in God's Word that will unlock the destiny God has placed within you so that you can become ALL that He has chosen you to be!!!!

The Crucified Life

What does it mean to be "crucified with Christ"? Is "dying to self" the same thing? Do you really understand what it means to die with Christ, be buried with Christ, and to be resurrected with Christ? Through several "crucifixion experiences", hardships, difficult relationships, humiliating circumstances, and trials, and a careful study of God's Word, Dr. Edith takes you through God's Word and the revelation the Lord gave to her on the concept of being "crucified with Christ". Next to personal salvation, and being filled with the Spirit, there is no topic that is SO necessary for every believer. Our victory in our Christian walk and our personal growth depends on our understanding and application of these vital concepts.

This is a thorough study of the concept of being "crucified with Christ". Romans 6-8 is dwelt with along with many New Testament scriptures based on the Greek background and rendering of the words. For a Hebraic study of the historical background of Romans and the issue of the "law" from a Hebraic perspective see The Law through Hebrew Eyes under the Book section.

INTRODUCTION

Crucify Him! Crucify Him! That crowd who only a week before had sung his hosannas were crying out for his blood. As Jesus hung there from the cross, he looked down at the mockers and said quietly, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

A family stood huddled in the Roman amphitheater awaiting death by lions. Calmly and peacefully they breathed a prayer together, “Father, we commit our lives into your hands.”

A little fifth grader read her composition on what Easter* means to me. All the rest had shared funny stories of bunnies, candy, and family fun but she wanted to share only one thing- Jesus, the cross, and the empty tomb. Soon she was so into the story she forgot where she was. She excitedly shared how Jesus had changed her life. As she did so, her body began to shake. The teacher, misunderstanding, rebuked her and sent her to her seat. But most of her class knew her too well. She wasn’t goofing off. This was real. At recess, a group of kids joined hands and she shared more.

The sweet natured woman stood white faced before the congregation. She had exposed the truth behind closed doors with the pastor and board. But instead of correcting the situation, she was publicly denounced. But she did what Jesus told her to do and she had done it respectfully.

Head now shaven, the imprisoned evangelist was free to speak before the townspeople who had jailed him for “speaking in tongues”. He was granted a word. He shared salvation and the cross. Many were saved.

“I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST; NEVERTHELESS I LIVE, YET NOT I , BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME. Gal. 2:20

What does it mean to be crucified with Christ? Is it living a life of faith, or is it more?

*Easter is commonly referred to by most Christians as the day Jesus was resurrected. The name Easter, however, is pagan and refers to Astarte or Ishtar, a pagan goddess. It is used one time in the King James Bible but in the Greek should have been translated Passover. Jesus died on the day of the first fruits after Passover. He was the "Passover lamb".

The Law Through Hebrew Eyes

Have you been taught to believe that the Old Testament is a history of the Jews and is for them and the New Testament is for the believer in Christ?? Do you view the "Law" as bad and "grace" as good? The Law or "Torah" was considered by Jews to be a wedding ketubah or marriage certificate. How can that be bad? Reexamine the book of Romans from a Hebraic perspective to see what Paul and Jesus were really saying about the Law and about grace. See how a proper understanding of "Law" is essential to not only understand our biblical "roots" or foundations in the Old Testament but is essential for properly understanding the New Testament as well. Don't be mired in the mudpit of anti-semitic theologians or tradition any longer! Read the Law through Hebrew Eyes !

Taking the High Road of Total Abstinence

Alcoholism kills families through people who drink and drive. Alcoholism destroys homes and families. Alcoholism and drugs have fried people's brains, preventing them from fulfilling God's plan for their lives. 627 scriptures in the Bible instruct us in the use of alcohol and wine. But few have studied to see what the whole Bible tells about it. The sins of alcohol used to be preached by Spirit filled ministers. But those on fire Pentecostals now many times preach a compromised message of one foot in the world and alcohol (with moderation, of course) and one foot in holiness and righteousness. Non Christians see drinking Christians as no different than they are. What does the Bible really say? Are there really scriptures that condone moderate drinking? Take a roller coaster ride through the Bible and determine the road YOU are going to travel!!!!
